This is an image that I regularly see in my mind. It imprinted itself (along with a no. of others) from our visit. It's a place with such history and grandeur. The thought of all those great pharoahs who were buried there in absolute splendour. The sad thing is that so much of that splendour has been damaged, destroyed or stolen.
