The Darlington Operatic Society put on the show, South Pacific. To try to get the look a bit more authentic, some of the young ladies decided it would be a good idea to try to get hair and make-up a bit closer to what it might have been like in the 40s. They were fortunate to have the talent of a young women who loves all things 40s. The girls spent a couple of hours with her and used the tips she gave them to help them look that bit more authentic when they on stage in the show.
